Note from your publisher Rochester may be wrapped in a snowy blanket today, but the skies will clear just in time for a weekend full of arts, culture, and cozy indoor and outdoor adventures. From the side-splitting absurdity of SPAMALOT at RBTL to a soulful tribute to Laurel Canyon with the RPO, there’s no shortage of reasons to step out and shake off the winter blues. You can also catch a celestial concert at the Webster Public Library, enjoy live
owl encounters under the stars at GCV&M, or snowshoe on a winter bird trail at Montezuma Audubon Center. Of course, if your Saturday afternoon plans involve settling in with snacks and cheering on
the Buffalo Bills as they take on the Denver Broncos, we support that strategy wholeheartedly—just consider it your halftime break before heading back out for more fun. Sunday brings even more to explore, from Chocolate Mindfulness in Penfield to the opening of the 2026 Beat the Blahs opera series in Pittsford. However you spend it, this weekend is filled with ways to stay inspired, entertained, and connected. —Debra Ross, publisher
