Note from your publisher My pick for the weekend: Frontiers of Impressionism opens at the Memorial Art Gallery on Sunday, and it's a stunner. This major exhibit features 53 paintings on loan from the Worcester Art Museum, showing how daring and
boundary-pushing the Impressionists truly were. It's a rare chance to see these works up close—don’t miss it while it's here (November 2 - March 1). Also happening this weekend: The Wayne County Apple Tasting Tour wraps up for the season tomorrow. This self-driving tour has eleven stops through beautiful apple country, featuring farm experiences, tastings, and a fun interactive app. It’s a great excuse for one last crisp fall adventure. Prefer your fall with a dash of gothic drama? Head to Genesee Country Village & Museum Saturday night for A Night with Edgar Allan Poe, a theatrical experience
exploring the haunting real-life romance between Poe and Sarah Helen Whitman. More events, more ideas, and more ways to explore are on the site—this weekend’s looking especially good. —Debra Ross, publisher

Adjacent to the doctor’s laboratory, his young and energetic wife Catherine tries to tend to their newborn daughter and wonders exactly what is going on in the next room.
