St. Louis KidsOutAndAbout Summer Camp Newsletter March 17, 2026 - Part 1
|
Dear KidsOutAndAbout readers:
Here at KidsOutAndAbout.com, we love promoting summer camps as a way for kids to learn, expand their friendship circles, and have fun without the pressure of grades or consequences. Local summer camps have pulled out all the stops to ensure your kids have a great time.
After getting inspired by the camp descriptions below with programs for preschoolers through teens, head over to
our Week by Week Guide to Summer Camps and what's been posted so far for 2026. Bookmark that main portal page to get where you need to go quickly to search by date or subject. New camps are being added constantly, so check back frequently. I hope you enjoy our special-edition camp
newsletter, and that you forward it to your friends who may also be shopping for summer camps. We'll be back with your regularly-scheduled weekly newsletter on Thursday! Note: So many local camps wanted to participate in this newsletter that we have divided it into Part 1 (for the first half of the alphabet) and Part 2 (second half of the alphabet), which will arrive shortly. —Debra Ross, publisher

Our Faith-Based Nature Summer Camp offers a calm, intentional alternative to large, overstimulating camps. Designed for ages 3–12, our program focuses on small groups, hands-on learning, and meaningful outdoor experiences near Grant’s Farm. Each day blends
nature exploration, creative projects, and character-building activities rooted in faith and leadership. Children are known by name, guided with care, and given space to grow confidence at their own pace. This is not a drop-off childcare experience—it’s a thoughtfully designed summer environment where kids engage deeply, build real skills, and come home proud of what they’ve created. Limited summer spots are available.

Let’s get creative this summer at Crayola® Imagine Arts AcademyTM’s five creative art camps for kids ages 5 to 11. During each week-long camp, children explore different art techniques and use Crayola® art materials to express their ideas. Campers
travel the world through art as they create art inspired by artisans around the world. They dive into the world of animals as they create sculptures, paintings, and more. Campers discover artists who shook up the art world and the world itself, while kids create some world-changing art of their own. Children dig into legendary stories and create art inspired by the creatures within. They enter the world of design from board game design, to fashion design, to architectural design, as they
design and create their own unique projects to take home each day. Learn more at stlouis.imagineartsacademy.com/parents-camps.
