The hesitation at the start is normal and doesn't usually last. Campers work in small guided groups, one guide to every eight kids, moving through the Kids and Classic courses in the morning and the Classic and Extreme in the afternoon. The WTF (What’s to Fear) Jump is an option for anyone ready by the end of the day. Counselors are patient with the kids who need an extra minute on the platform, and they know when to give a nudge and when to just wait.

Camp runs rain or shine. The forest canopy covers a lot, and there are sheltered areas for games and crafts when the group needs a break from the elements.

Logistics are straightforward. Drop-off and pick-up happen at the park entrance. Full-day programs drop off between 8:30 and 9:00 am, with pick-up from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Half-day pick-up runs 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Pack a lunch and snacks — meals aren't included, though WildPlay sells snacks and drinks on-site. 

Closed-toe shoes, athletic layers, a water bottle, and gloves for colder days or hand protection on course. Week-long campers get an Anti-Gravity Camp water bottle.
