Knight Camp is an award-winning 5-day camp for ages 8–14 in downtown Vancouver, where kids train in swordplay, sword & shield, and archery, play medieval games, explore history, and practice knightly virtues in a safe, structured environment. Hosted by Academie Duello, the world’s largest centre for historical swordplay, it’s an especially great fit for active, imaginative kids who want more than a standard sports camp. Most camps keep kids busy. Pear Tree camps are run by certified teachers with a new hands-on theme every week — science, French immersion, cooking, nature, drama, and more. Ages 5–12, classes capped at 16, running July 6 to August 21 at six Metro Vancouver locations: Kitsilano, Yaletown, Burnaby (Deer Lake), North Vancouver, and Coquitlam. Hot lunch available at Kitsilano and Yaletown. Before and after care at most locations. Some August sessions are filling. Week 5 French camp (ages 5–8) has four spots left. Throughout July, Mulgrave School offers week-long day camps for students entering preschool (4 year olds) to Grade 12.
