Dear KidsOutAndAbout readers:

Summer is a great time to explore something new, and with the fun hands-on camps at Little Beakers, kids will find many ways to inspire their inner scientist.

Equipped with lab coats, safety glasses and natural curiosity, campers will spend their day designing rockets, erupting glowing volcanoes, kicking-off chemical reactions, digging into fossils & minerals, diving into marine biology, building polymers, investigating forensic science, testing physics, exploring space, taking a closer look at microbiology and much more!

Summer Camp Themes (ages 5-14)

For Budding Biologists:

Mini-Dr Camp, Marine biology, Entomology Camp, Mini-vet Camp

For Earthbound Explorers:

Botany, Weather and Environmental Science, Geology and Earth Science, Paleontology

For Future Chemists:

Volcanos and Chemical Reactions, Culinary Chemistry, Forensic Science

For Planners and Problem-solving Engineers/Physicists:

Astronomy and Aeronautics, Engineering and STEM, Bots and STEM, Glowing, 3-D and Optical Illusions

Middle Beakers Camp Themes (ages 9+)

Junior Doctors, Science is Magical, Simple Machines and Chain Reactions, Advanced Chemical Reactions

Camp Descriptions

The Details

Summer Camp themes are for 5 consecutive days.
Two or three different camp themes will be offered each week of Summer Camp (AM or PM sessions).
Daily Summer Break Camp sessions are 3 hours long: 9 am to 12 pm OR 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Most camp themes are appropriate for children ages 5-13. Participants must meet the minimum age requirement on the first day of camp that they attend.
Select "Middle Beakers" camp themes, designed exclusively for participants ages 9+ are available.
A healthy snack is included each day of camp.
Camps are drop-off in nature. Parents and children not enrolled will not be permitted to attend.
Supervision is not provided between camp sessions. If a student enrolls in both AM and PM sessions, they must be picked up at the end of the AM session and return no more than 10 minutes before the start of the PM session.
The cost is $200 per child for 5-day each camp theme (AM or PM). Partial camp enrollment is NOT available.
