The Stages summer theater is packed with family-favorite stories brought to life by incredibly talented young performers. The season kicks off with the high-stakes adventure of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, followed by the hilarious, laugh-out-loud antics of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical. Later this summer, audiences can sing along with the Wildcats in Disney’s High School Musical JR., or dive deep into the ocean with the heartwarming adventures of Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. and Finding Nemo KIDS. There is truly a show for every age group! 

Seeing young performers shine on stage often inspires kids in the audience to explore their own creative talents. For children who are constantly putting on living room concerts or telling wild stories, Stages provides the perfect environment. Parents choose Stages not just for theater skills, but for the strong sense of community it creates. 

The program focuses on giving kids a safe, supportive space outside of home and school where they can gain confidence, express their creativity, make lifelong friends, and find their unique voice.

Everyone in those groups is guaranteed a place in the cast and the opportunity to be in the spotlight, taking the pressure off and keeping the focus where it should be: having fun, learning, collaborating, and growth.

While summer camp teams are already hard at work putting these spectacular shows together, A Magical Journey Thru Stages is looking ahead to a brand-new main season of creativity. Their highly anticipated fall programming registration and audition information will be opening soon - one month before each program starts. Spots will fill up incredibly quickly. 

The season begins with adventure and fire-breathing action through How to Train Your Dragon JR. (grades 2-6), followed by a new and exciting 6-12th grade show that will be announced in coming months, Then they'll be performing the beloved full Broadway version of Frozen (grades 6-10), followed by the funny and heartwarming Junie B’s Essential Survival Guide to School JR. (grades 1-5). The cleverly condensed Jane Austen in 39+ Minutes (grades 6-12) for will happen during spring break week, followed by the award-winning Chicago: Teen Edition (grades 8-12), and the season will end with a classic, The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition (grades 4-8). Stages’ 2026-2027 Season is going to be unforgettable!
