Visit Hillel Community Day School on Wednesday, January 28 at 5:30 pm and discover a school where every Jewish family feels at home. At this open house, you’ll be able to learn about their small class sizes and excellent Judaics and secular programs. You will also be able to meet their warm and caring faculty.

Judaics Program

Hillel students study Jewish texts, values, history, and traditions. Additionally, with the bilingual curriculum, students at Hillel Community Day School can also expect instruction in Hebrew. The Judaics program is integrated with IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme). They use IB PYP's globally recognized standards, conceptual lenses, and approaches to learning to guide how students explore Judaism.

International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)

Hillel Community Day School is an IB PYP candidate school. That means that, (from age 3 through Sixth Grade) instead of teaching subjects in isolation, students explore big ideas that connect across areas like science, social studies, literacy, and the arts, as well as Judaic studies. The goal is to help children become curious, confident, and caring learners who ask questions, think critically, and take action in their world. Students in 7th and 8th Grades learn by subject.
