Studio K Dance + Fitness is proud to present their 2nd annual holiday performance of "Believe". Add this energetic, family friendly, dance show to your holiday traditions this year! "Believe" is a dance performance inspired by the Christmas movie, "The Polar Express". Weekends Nov 28 - Dec 21, 2025: Another Magical Christmas Adventure awaits at Hidden Valley Animal Adventure in Varysburg! The Lodge, in full holiday splendor, will host Santa’s Wonderland where you’ll decorate cookies, write letters to the North Pole, take holiday photos, and more before boarding your trolley for a journey through Hidden Valley’s Mystical Forest. There you’ll see herds of bison and elk, Randy the camel, llamas, and blackbelly sheep roaming the wintery terrain. Upon your return, pet and feed a variety of live animals in open-air stalls. The perfect way to work off Thanksgiving and show visiting relatives a great time! Public skating (often called public skate or open skate) is a relaxed, all-ages session where anyone can enjoy time on the ice—no experience required. It’s a great way to try indoor ice skating for the first time, practice your stride, or enjoy a family skate together in a comfortable, climate-controlled arena. Sessions are recreational and non-instructional, making them ideal for beginners and casual skaters. Public skate times are an hour and a half long at 11am, 1:15pm, 3:30pm, and 5:45pm.

Continuing its holiday tradition, the New York Museum of Transportation, in Rush, will welcome Santa Claus on December 7, 13 and 14. He's eager to meet the kids and pose for pictures. A ride in the heated trolley, holiday decorations, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate, and the fondly remembered Midtown Plaza Monorail all add to the fun in this unique celebration of the holidays. Admission including the trolley ride is $18 adults, $14 age 3 - 14. Rides depart at 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2:45 and 3:30. Thursday, Dec 4, 7pm at Kodak Center: This critically acclaimed holiday celebration that the whole family can enjoy brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang together live on stage as they uncover the true meaning of Christmas and perform songs from the unforgettable musical score of legendary composer Vince Guaraldi. The Broadway-style production complete with immersive sets, lighting, choreography, and colorful costumes has sold more than 300,000 tickets over the prior holiday seasons. Children under 2 years of age do not need a ticket to sit on an adult's lap.

The seventh annual City of Rochester Roc Holiday Village, presented by ESL Federal Credit Union, returns December 5–28 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park with sixteen days of free holiday fun. Enjoy free ice skating and skate rentals, visits and photos with Santa, kids’ crafts, and festive holiday celebrations. Take on the I Spy Scavenger Hunt and Adventure Map, or catch special ice rink events like sled hockey, curling lessons, and figure skating performances. Warm up by the fire pits, sip hot cocoa for a cause at The Giving Cup, and soak in the lights, music, and cheer of Rochester’s favorite winter festival.

Rochester Rotary invites area children and families to have breakfast with Santa Claus on Saturday, Dec. 13. The event will be held at Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp, located at 809 Five Points Road in Rush. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children over 3 years old. Children under 3 are free. Two seating times are available: at 9:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.
