|
Dear KidsOutAndAbout readers:
Here at KidsOutAndAbout.com, we love promoting summer camps as a way for kids to learn, expand their friendship circles, and have fun without the pressure of grades or consequences. Local summer camps have pulled out all the stops to ensure your kids have a great time.
After getting inspired by the camp descriptions below with programs for preschoolers through teens, head over to
our Week by Week Guide to Summer Camps and what's been posted so far for 2026. Bookmark that main portal page to get where you need to go quickly to search by date or subject. New camps are being added constantly, so check back frequently. I hope you enjoy our special-edition camp
newsletter, and that you forward it to your friends who may also be shopping for summer camps. We'll be back with your regularly-scheduled weekly newsletter on Thursday!

Join us for exciting explorations during our camps. Go on a variety of field trips, enjoy karate, sports, games, arts & crafts, and more. Parents don't worry, we keep students educationally engaged through the summer with our reading cafe and
partnership with Providence Public Library, and our interactive summer reading passports. Students have math and STEM labs every week, and our field trips wrap up their learning at the Boston Science Museum.

Play-Well TEKnologies teaches Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math concepts by using LEGO® materials. Have a blast learning through play with LEGO®! We offer camps, workshops, after-school enrichment and birthday parties! Play-Well TEKnologies
provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of engineering to children, ages 5 - 14, using LEGO®. Our curriculum is designed by engineers, building on the math and science skills students learn during the school year. Utilizing over 20,000 pieces of LEGO® for each class, we engage our students in solving real-world engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture, and engineering. Our goal is to have our students foster a greater appreciation of
how things work, and encourage the qualities of inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence in children. We have been growing future engineers since 1997.
