Students new to theatre can take introductory classes that provide great foundations for the arts, while young actors with more experience can dive into specialties to further develop their skills. With programs for grades K-12 we hope there is a place for all youth to learn about theatre, meet new friends, and create lasting memories.

Come learn, laugh, sing, and make magical memories with the renown Indianapolis Children’s Choir at Summer Music Camp! It’s ideal for kids in grades 1-8 who love music, no matter their level of experience. This week-long camp is packed with part-singing, instruments, music games, and crafts, and ends with a concert where campers will present all that they’ve learned. Find Your Voice! Indianapolis Opera’s Crescendo! Vocal Arts Camp is a five-day intensive vocal performance program for students ages 13-18 (rising high school freshmen through rising college freshmen). Young singers build their confidence, skills, & knowledge in the art of solo vocal performance through diverse repertoire (musical theatre, classical, folk song) while enjoying hours of individual attention in private lessons, vocal coachings, and master classes with acclaimed faculty, as well as workshops in auditioning, dance/movement, acting, sight singing, choral music, diction, and theater. On Friday at 5 PM, camp concludes with a fully-staged concert featuring all Crescendo! campers in solo and group performances!

Transport your children a world away with our Language Summer Camp, hosted in partnership with Indiana University's Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies. Offered in French, Mandarin, Spanish, and Arabic, children will enjoy immersive language instruction and hands-on activities directed by native experts right here in Indianapolis! Language camps are for rising kindergarten through Grade 6 students, and camps run weekly from 6/22 to 7/13.

Every day at MYB Summer Dance Camp is filled with the joy of dance and storytelling. Designed for girls and boys ages 3–6, our imaginative half-day camps feature enchanting themes like Under the Sea, Once Upon a Fairytale, and Nutcracker in July.
