National Youth Theater West Houston is a youth performing arts program dedicated to training and inspiring students ages 8–19 through high-quality musical theater experiences. With a focus on skill-building, teamwork, and confidence both on and off stage, NYT provides a supportive environment where young performers can grow as artists and individuals.

From exciting full-scale musical productions to engaging summer camps and upcoming fall auditions, NYT West Houston offers year-round opportunities for students to learn, perform, and shine.

Summer Camps

Teen Camp: High School Musical Jr.

June 22–27 | Ages 11–19

Build confidence and stage skills while rehearsing and performing High School Musical Jr. in a positive environment. Perform a full show at the end of the week.

Camp DreamWorks Day Camp

July 27–31 | Ages 6–12

Enjoy a fun-filled week of theater games, music, and crafts inspired by favorite DreamWorks stories. Summer Special Save $15 on registration! Limited spots available—register early to secure your place.

Fall Auditions & Workshops Coming Soon

Fall performance auditions and audition workshops are coming soon!

Students interested in growing their confidence, strengthening audition skills, and preparing for upcoming productions are encouraged to join NYT West Houston this fall.

Workshops are designed to help performers improve acting, singing, and stage presence in a supportive environment.
