Theatre Summer Camps and Productions

Summer at NTPA is packed with imagination, creativity, and fun. Young performers can spend a week stepping into the spotlight as their favorite characters while learning acting, singing, movement, and storytelling skills.

Week-long theatre camps for ages 5–13 offer half-day and full-day options where students create scenes, play theatre games, and perform for family and friends at the end of the week. From superheroes and princesses to classic storybook characters, every camp invites kids to bring their imagination to life.

For students ready for the big stage, NTPA summer productions and two-week intensives offer a full rehearsal and performance experience.

Students can audition for shows ranging from youth favorites like Lion King Kids and Seussical Jr to larger productions for teens such as Fame Jr and Catch Me If You Can. 

Film Camps and Productions

For students who love movies, storytelling, or working behind the camera, NTPA Film Studios offers hands-on film camps and productions where students write, direct, act in, and edit their own short films.

Students in grades 3–12 collaborate both in front of and behind the camera while learning filmmaking techniques from industry professionals. Every program culminates in a screening of their completed film for friends and family.

Adaptive Theatre Programs

NTPA believes theatre should be accessible to everyone. Two specialized programs support performers of all abilities:

NTPA Starcatchers provides performing arts experiences for actors with disabilities, while NTPA Deaf Theatre creates theatre opportunities for actors who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

Both programs provide supportive environments with trained staff, interpreters, and volunteers so every actor can experience the joy of performing.

For middle and high school students who want to pursue performing arts at a deeper level, NTPA Academy offers a unique educational model that combines academic studies with professional-level theatre training.

Students work inside active theatres alongside experienced directors while completing their academic coursework through a flexible independent study model supported by credentialed educational staff. The program offers seven certification tracks across multiple performing arts disciplines.

Registration is open for the spring semester and the 2026–2027 school year.
