Get ready for an inspiring summer of discovery with Discovery Camps at the Buffalo Museum of Science! These action-packed weeks are designed to spark imagination and ignite young minds from Preschool through Grade 12, with engaging themes that range from ancient mysteries and oceanic adventures to star-studying and science-meets-art explorations. Each week is an opportunity for campers to dive deep into hands-on experiments, immersive activities, and creative challenges that make learning feel like play — all while exploring fascinating subjects like space, nature, engineering, and more.

Weekly camps are available from June 29 through September 4, and there are offerings for Pre-K through Grade 12. These Monday through Friday camps are super-convenient for parents, too, with easy access off Rt. 33 and options for pick-up times, and snacks provided. All camps start at $385 per week (plus save $35 if you're a member!).

PreK to Grade 5 Camps

These camps offer plenty of high-energy, hands-on activities to spark scientific curiosity, and campers will be grouped according to age to maximize developmentally appropriate learning in a community of young campers.

Grade 6 to 12 Camps

Older campers combine science with passions like gaming, theater, and space travel in camps that incorporate field trips to expand their horizons.

And while we're eagerly awaiting summer, don't forget to mark your calendars for DinoFEST, happening March 21 and 22. That's right: this event is so popular that this year they're expanding to TWO full days of dinosaurs, geology, and paleontology! All our favorite DinoFEST activities—like the oobleck pit, Spike the dinosaur meet‑and‑greets, and the giant foam dig pit will be happening, plus they've got new experiences and plenty of fossil‑sifting bags and Stuff‑A‑Dino kits!
