Details on where & when to find Santa, Sensory Friendly Event, Baby's First Christmas, & More!
Dear KidsOutAndAbout readers:
Have you planned your visit to Santa Claus yet? This is the only year that your child (or children) will be exactly this age at Christmastime, so you want to preserve the memory. Luckily, the jolly old elf is at Walden Galleria. Bring your kids, your pets, or your whole family to chat with Santa and capture the memories of the best time of the year.
Where to find Santa:
Walden Galleria's North Pole living room is on the lower level outside the Apple Store. Decked out with a gigantic 25-foot Christmas tree, a cozy fireplace, and presents scattered all
around, it will feel like you've been transported to the North Pole, and it looks amazing in photos, perfect for a holiday card or just to save so that you will always have a beautiful image of this year's Christmas for your child.
All guests are strongly encouraged to make advanced
reservationsand appointments to visit Santa Claus. Walk-in guests will be accepted on a space-available basis. Photo packages start at $39.99.
The easiest parking access is through the 5-Level parking ramp outside Five Guys or parking by DSW/Primark entrance.
If you're coming from the 5-Level Parking Ramp: Enter through the main mall entrance and take a left at the elevator. Santa will be straight ahead.
From the DSW/Primark main
mall entrance, take the escalator down and Santa will be to your right. There's an elevator located outside of Regal Cinemas if you need one.
When to find Santa:
Santa must be magical, because in spite of all of his toy preparations and list-checking, you can find Santa there every day through Christmas Eve!
Here are his usual
hours:
Mondays – Fridays: 11 am – 7 pm
Saturdays: 10 am – 8 pm
Sundays: 11 am – 6 pm
Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24: 10 am – 5 pm
But keep in mind, he'll need to
"feed the reindeer" once in a while. This is usually between 3 pm and 4 pm, but it will be posted when Santa goes away and when he comes back.
Santa Cares Sensory Friendly Event:
At this special Sensory friendly event, children and families with sensory issues can visit Santa in a controlled and intimate environment with low lighting and no music.
This is available:
Sunday, December 7: 9:30 am – 10:30 am
Special Pet Photo Nights:
Bring your pet to Walden Galleria's special Pet Photo Nights on Mondays and Tuesdays.
