Music for the Very Young, for 2-year-olds, can
easily serve as a child's first formal music instruction, but stiff and boring it is not! These classes channel toddler energy into musical expression and experiences, with songs, dances, games, and instrument play, all geared toward the developing two-year-old brain and attention span. Music for the Young classes enable 3-year-olds (and, in the spring, young 4-year-olds) to learn about both the music around them and the music they can make, with a wide variety of activities and games designed to inspire and instruct. Finally,
for the Winterterm only (January 12–February 8), The Music Studio offers Let’s Begin classes for children ages 4–7. In just four sessions, children are introduced to the foundations of music, with structured and lively lessons that
keep students engaged as they learn new concepts — rhythm, pitch, dynamics, and so on — almost without realizing it. You will be amazed at how much they can learn in such a short time.
